One-Visit, Same Day Dental Crowns

CEREC CROWNS
cerec

CEREC crowns provide a beautiful looking tooth in just one single visit. This is why we call them, one-visit dental crowns.

CEREC crowns provide a beautiful looking tooth in just one single visit. This is why we call them, one-visit dental crowns. In the course of one visit, we are able to diagnose and prepare the damaged tooth, create an optical impression of the tooth, and use our state-of-art CEREC machine to design your restoration. CEREC crowns are metal-free, and can help to preserve a healthy, natural tooth.  We have a high-tech, CEREC machine in the office that provides us with the technology to create strong, customized, tooth-colored ceramic crowns for your teeth, in one single appointment. The CEREC crowns look and feel like your real teeth with their enamel-like material. They are permanently bonded to your teeth with no discomfort and no second visit, perfect for someone who is always on-the-go!  In addition to the convenience of one-visit dental crowns, CEREC crowns look and feel like your teeth. Unlike the porcelain fused to metal crowns, these are metal free! In a porcelain-fused metal crown, the metal limits the translucency in x-rays and they can sometimes show a dark gray line, especially around the gum line. In addition, the CEREC crowns promote a healthy, natural tooth structure and gum line.

HOW WE CAN HELP

In our office we offer our patients the advantage of having “same day” crowns fabricated while they are sitting right here in our office. Our patients love having this option especially if they are scheduled for an emergency appointment such as a broken tooth, and they leave our office with a brand new crown looking just like a natural, healthy tooth.

Fix Chips, Stains, Gaps, and Cracks

COSMETIC BONDING
bonding

Cosmetic bonding can repair and restore chips, stains, gaps, and cracks on your front teeth that is less expensive and faster than veneers.

Chips, stains, gaps, and cracks on your front teeth can easily detract from an otherwise attractive appearance. Cosmetic bonding may be a solution for you. Although bonding doesn’t last as long as veneers, it is generally faster and less expensive than bonding. Plus, like veneers, bonding resists stains, so it holds its natural-looking color.

The procedure is straightforward. Once your dentist has prepared your tooth or teeth for the process, he or she will use the same custom-tinted, liquid resin used for white fillings for the procedure and tint the resin to blend with the existing tooth enamel, applying it as needed. A soft light will then harden the substance, and your dentist will sculpt and polish the newly shaped tooth so it looks completely natural.

Straighten & Realign Your Smile

COSMETIC ORTHODONTICS
ortho

More adults than ever are turning to orthodontics to improve their bite and reposition their teeth for cosmetic reasons. Modern braces can be made from clear or tooth-colored structures, and some dentists offer clear, removable aligners.

You may associate braces with middle school or high school students, but more and more adults today are turning to orthodontics to improve their bite and reposition their teeth for cosmetic reasons. Modern braces can be made from clear or tooth-colored structures, and some dentists offer clear, removable aligners.

Depending on your needs, your dentist may recommend functional orthodontics, as well as cosmetic orthodontics, to correct your bite and alignment, and to enhance your appearance. Traditional braces involve brackets glued to your teeth and a wire that gently shifts the teeth into proper alignment. Clear braces can refer to clear brackets and wires, or completely clear acrylic aligners that gradually move teeth into proper alignment. Your dentist will recommend the best solution for your teeth and lifestyle.

IN-OFFICE TEETH WHITENING

Chairside or in-office teeth whitening is performed in about an hour with significant results because your dentist can use a higher concentration of whitening solution than over-the-counter systems.

When performed by a dentist, teeth whitening, or bleaching, is quite effective. Your dentist can administer a higher concentration of whitening solution than over-the-counter systems, so the results are more significant. We offer several types of teeth whitening procedures at our Holland office and your dentist will help you determine the best method for your unique lifestyle and goals.

Chairside or in-office teeth whitening is performed in about an hour. Your dentist will use either a highly concentrated bleaching solution or a gel-and-light system to whisk away stains caused by common foods, beverages, tobacco, age, and/or tetracycline medications. If you would prefer to lighten your teeth at home, professional take-home kits can do the job in about two weeks. Both systems yield amazing results of up to 10 shades difference. In some cases, your dentist may suggest a combination of home and in-office bleaching. If teeth whitening does not work for you, consider porcelain veneers or cosmetic bonding to eliminate stains indefinitely.
